July 20, 2013 will mark the 11th Annual Garland Street Fair—an all day family event featuring food, live music and entertainment, art, crafts, and activities for all ages. This year we will Return to Oz with some slight changes to our contests and bring color to our trees! Join us from 10:00-5:00.
Spread over four blocks of the historic Garland District, the Street Fair is able to boast everything from merchants and vendors, face painting, and live comedy acts, to arts and crafts, kids’ activities, food vendors, and even a car show! All proceeds from the car show and kids art & games will be donated to the Spokane Guilds' School which will be about $2,000.
Contests & Prizes
Flying Monkey Critter Contest - dress up your pet like a flying monkey! Meet at the Garland Theater at 10:30 and parade down to the main stage at 11:00 for judging.
Any Character Costume Contest - dress up as any Oz character and meet at the Garland Theater at 1:30 to parade to the main stage at 2pm for judging. There will be four age categories for this one!

The Garland Street Fair Planning Committee is currently accepting applications and inquiries from local artists and non-profits who would like to participate in this full-day event. Booth space is available for a very small fee. Deadline was June 15.
